At Serenity in Knighton, we believe that motherhood is a sacred journey—one that deserves to be supported, honoured, and held with care. From the earliest days of pregnancy to the beautiful, sometimes overwhelming weeks and months after birth, we offer a space where mothers and their babies can feel grounded, nurtured, and connected.
Serena, the founder of Serenity, brings not only her extensive yoga training but also her own lived experience as a mother to each of these offerings. With compassion and wisdom, she holds space for women to breathe, move, and feel supported in their unique path into motherhood.
Pre & Postnatal Yoga: Moving Through Change with Grace
Pregnancy is a time of immense transformation—physically, emotionally, and spiritually. As your body grows and shifts to support new life, yoga becomes a powerful tool for tuning in, building resilience, and preparing for birth in a conscious, supported way.
Serena’s Pre & Postnatal Yoga classes are thoughtfully designed to meet you wherever you are in your pregnancy journey. Classes may include:
Gentle stretching and strengthening to ease common discomforts
Breathwork to support relaxation and labour preparation
Pelvic floor awareness and core connection
Mindful movement to encourage emotional grounding
Community sharing and emotional support
After birth, these sessions continue to be a space for healing and integration. Postnatal yoga focuses on safe recovery, reconnecting to the core, and offering space to process the emotional shifts of early motherhood. You don’t need to “bounce back”—you are invited to come as you are.
Whether you are in your first trimester or adjusting to life as a new mother, these classes are about honouring your body’s wisdom and offering yourself the time and space to reconnect.
Baby Yoga: A Space for Bonding, Play and Peace
Once your baby has arrived, finding time for self-care can feel almost impossible. Baby Yoga is designed to support both parent and baby—offering gentle movement, connection, and rest in a calm and welcoming environment.
These sessions include:
Soothing stretches and simple poses for your baby to aid digestion and sleep
Gentle movement and postnatal-friendly yoga for the parent
Touch and massage to support bonding and early development
Rhymes, songs and play to stimulate your baby’s senses
A chance to connect with other local parents in a relaxed, non-judgemental space
There is no expectation to be “perfect.” You can feed, rock, cuddle or rest as needed. These classes are as much about nourishing the parent as they are about supporting the child. It’s a chance to move your body gently, breathe deeply, and simply be with your baby in a loving, mindful way.
